An earnings conference call is a method which companies use to relay information such as the
latest revenue reports, profit margin analysis and the like. It is usually a call
made intercompany; after said company has posted an earnings report, or a fiscal budget.
A time when it is commonplace to see such a call is after a company has incorporated and gone public,
or just after posting quarterly financial results from their own sector.
